Search Engine Optimisation Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Plan, strategise and manage SEO campaigns for internal and external clients
  • Identify on-page and technical issues to fix with the help of SEO tools
  • Identify off-page opportunities with the help of SEO tools
  • Propose and execute outreach campaigns for backlink building
  • Manage and optimise Google My Business profiles for local SEO
  • Work with the content team on a strategy to fulfil both SEO requirements and branding directions
  • Monitoring search algorithms set by search engines to keep up with changes in the SEO landscape
  • Developing and integrating content marketing strategies
  • Monitor keyword rankings of campaigns and how they impact organic search traffic
  • Propose action steps to improve keyword rankings, organic search traffic
  • Assist in identifying conversion rate optimisation (CRO) action steps
  • Manage all other SEO-related matters as tasked by the SEO Manager and Digital Marketing Head
 

Skills

  • Familiar with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMRush, and Screaming Frog for on-page, off-page and technical SEO
  • Proficient with Google Search Console, Google My Business, Google Analytics
  • In-depth knowledge of website analytics tools to create reports and dashboards to zoom in on key metrics
  • Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms
  • Familiarity with WordPress, Hubspot and/or other content management systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially over email
  • Strong command of English
  • Experience with other aspects of marketing, such as customer growth and promotion, is a plus
